What To Expect

What kind of church is CCLC?

In short, we are a Bible-based, Christ-centered church (Christ’s Church). We have no denominational affiliation. We have no creed but Christ and no book but the Bible. That means that the Bible is our ultimate authority on all matters of faith and life. Our prayer, hope and goal is that everyone connected to Christ’s Church will grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

What should I expect if I come to one of your services?

Pretty simple. We’re laid back! Expect to feel welcome no matter what your background or current situation is. We believe church is about the people… not the building. You’ll be greeted at the door and offered a drink. Expect family friendly fellowship and worship. We sing together as a family (kids worship with us). We hear God’s Word (The Bible) taught. And we take communion.

What are the times of your services?

Worship @ 10:00 am

Fellowship Breakfast @ 9:30 am

We believe that if we are called to be a Family in Christ then we should eat together.

(Also, during this time there are prayer groups & discipleship classes)

How long are your services?

A typical Sunday morning worship service lasts about 1 hour.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. Don’t be surprised to see people still wearing their hunting attire or oil stained jeans with holes in them. People dress in anything from shorts, blue jeans and t-shirts to slacks and button-ups. Dress as you wish, we hope with modesty in mind. We are just happy you are here.

What should I do with my kids?

Great question! We love kids of all ages here; we are a Family. You can obviously keep your children with you during the service if you’d like;

Or…If they are nursery age (Newborn-Kindergarten), we have a secure nursery area where they can spend the service.  If they are in 1st grade- 5th grade you can send them to our secure children’s area (We call it the Christ’s Kids) where there is a specific message and fun designed just for them.

What about youth?

CCLC’s youth group (IGNITE) meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm! Doing various games/activities alongside a short lesson that drives home a specific point for them to walk away with and apply to their every day lives helps build disciples.

How often do you celebrate communion?

Our church family receives communion together every weekend to remember Christ’s sacrificial death for our sins. At our campus, we invite all baptized believers to take the sacraments with us.

Do I have to give money?

Only if you feel led to. Offering is for our regular attenders. We don’t pass a hat, boot or plate… If you’d like to give to this ministry there is an opportunity available at any time plus additional opportunities online.

If you desire to give, please know Christ’s Church is devoted to being careful stewards of God’s resources within our care.
